City Hall Office Hours for Hackers!

We hope you are enjoying working on your submissions for the City of Boston's HubHacks2 and that our open data portal is providing you with the ability to get creative!  Check out how the Boston Globe used just one set of data out of our approximate 360 data sets to put together a simple but effective visualization.  Now think about what you can do if you combine multiple sets to create something truly imaginative, innovative, and visually interesting!

To support your work, the City is hosting office hours at City Hall this Wednesday, March 25, in half-hour increments from 12:00-2:00pm and 5:00-7:00pm. Your team can use this time to ask questions, obtain feedback on your submission ideas, discuss data sets, do a dry-run and more.  Please contact jamie.drysdale@boston.gov to schedule your time slot. Make sure to let her know how you would like to spend the 30 minutes so that we can make sure the right people are there for you!

In the interim, here are some other great resources to get your creative juices flowing.

Good luck and happy hacking!

PS. We will continue to post additional sample visualizations on hubhacks2.challengepost.com, stay tuned!
