In reading updates I notice that 'one provision of the challenge itself is to use at least one of these provided datasets'. Does that mean either the city data or the partner data? I know you need the 'unique use of more than one data set' .

What are the other provisions of the challenge? Are they listed somewhere besides 'rules' and 'updates'?

On the Rules tab, you'll find the full specifics (http://hubhacks2.challengepost.com/rules). Probably the most important:

"Submissions must include a data visualization that provides a unique use of more than one data set - public or provided by the city. All submissions should show a working example or complete visualization. Any submission that includes a coded, working application must publically post all sources on GitHub."

    Hi Dave,

My team is building some dashboards and visualizations in Birst Cloud BI. I am not sure we will be able to get them hosted on a public website for Monday (eventually we could). For our initial submission, would it be adequate to provide a video demonstration with some screen shots and technical documentation? Or do you guys need to be able to get into the application and look at what we have built?

    Thanks!

Hunter - the more you can share, the better, but for the purposes of judging/presenting, video/screens can be fine. We keep this requirement to encourage sharing - so if you have documentation you can post in a GH, that'd be awesome.
